Living in the hood as one would say is an experience that some will never get, Or should I say they think they will not experience. What I am saying is that you do not have to live in the hood to experience the negative events that are so reported in the hood. First if you do not live downtown in this city than you are in a hood. Next what happen in one part of this city will eventually make it rounds to the entire area if not the entire state, That just how things go.

I myself would like to look at some positive things that happen in my hood. Like the Parade, this happens every year put together by citizens, city employees’ whom volunteer their time to set this day up. The police volunteer the service and each year the residents of city come out and you see a community full of pride. Like know other day rain or shine they come out to see the parade and when they talk about it they you can hear the pride in their voice. Yes this is a great event that happens every year in the hood. I wonder does something like this happen in your hood d.
